Mike is a proven venture capitalist in cleantech. He has invested in climate solutions for over 20 years in companies including Tesla, Solar City and Powerlight long before the larger wave of sustainability investing materialized.

He co-founded the Bay Area Equity Fund (now DBL Partners) that delivered top-decile 24.4%+ IRR, 4.1X cash-on-cash returns and generated 15,000 jobs. He later managed funds for Westly Group and Reaction focused on cleantech. Prior to venture, Mike was an investment banker at JP Morgan and DLJ.
